Through the Visit to Sakhi Niwas, Indore, the team observed the working model of a government-supported shelter home dedicated to providing care and protection to women in distress. The interaction with staff and residents helped in understanding the support systems, rehabilitation measures, and initiatives taken for women’s empowerment at the institutional level.

Through this visit, we identified potential areas where awareness, policy alignment, and community outreach could further improve service delivery. It also reinforced the organization’s commitment to strengthening institutional mechanisms for women’s welfare and fostering a safe, supportive environment for every woman.
